Footsteps Of Love

My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Just Ramblin'

Well, I'm surfin over at BlogAzoo, ok? And I'm new at this site so I'm trying to get the feel of it. I think I'm going to like it so far. I even picked up a gazoo and earned some credits! Woo Hoo!

Anyway....I set my preferences on Older Teens because I thought "well, there's not going to be any profanity or nudity to speak of on these sites." Boy, was I wrong! The first site I come to had pictures that shouldn't be shown on a site for "older teens" in the first place. Teens are still kids more or less.

So, I set my preferences AGAIN on Young Ages because I thought AGAIN "well, there's surely no profanity or nudity on these sites." Well, you guessed it. Wrong again! I come to a site that was worst than the first site.

Well, needless to say, BlogAzoo probably thinks that I'm just a whiner now because I've reported 3 sites. Oh, well, so be it. But when I surf a site for "All Ages" I expect a site that your kids can also enjoy. But hey, maybe it's just me. I'm going to continue surfing there because I do like the site and finding the gazoos is fun.

Why do people think that profanity is cool? Do they really think it makes them sound intelligent or cooler than cool?

What do you guys think?? And please, no profanity or I will be forced to delete the comment because after all, this site is for "All Ages."

Well, I guess I'm going to have to put word verification on this blog. I sure didn't want to but I can't take the spamming anymore. Sorry everybody!

I agree with you. I have chosen the "all ages" as I dont care for things that I wouldnt alllow my children to see. I have reported a few sites as well. You arent the only one. When I was growing up, I was always taught that using that kind of language, showed 'immaturity'...what I do know is that it shows a lack of consideration for others.

I did get BlogExchage to add a "banned sites" button but they only allow 15 entries.

Thank you for your comment on my site. I would gladly give you a few hints on how to make the 'Cat Castle'. I actually spent nothing by my time to make it. Everything else was free, but can also be gotten for almost nothing.

Actually the problem is that sites are rated when they are submitted. If the person changes content style it is very easy to have a blog in the wrong category.

Reporting sites is encouraged and no you are not a whiner. All sites that you reported have been re categorized. Please contimue to report them as once they are assigned a rating it is extremely hard for us to know if they have changed their content style.

Keeping Blogazoo a fun place for people to read blogs is our primary goal.

    Welcome to Blogazoo.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I really do like Blogazoo. There's always some bad apples in the crop. I appreciate your time to write a comment. It means a lot not just to me but to the people that read it.

I have to say - it is really hard to get clean sites, so no, you are not the only one. I like at this point the surfing on BlogExplosion, haven't come across any nasty sites yet...
But the other day I was just surfing the Blogger Scrollbar - oh boy, I am talking not very clean stuff. I stopped after the second click. It was just frustrating - how in the world people get their nasty sites approved by Blogger is beyond me.
Regarding "Word Verification" - I put mine on after I got four spams in one afternoon...People who really mean well to comment on your blog, don't mind the WF thing...

    I'm also a member of Blogazoo...still haven't figured up how to catch a Gazoo...so I stopped surfing...lol.

I don't surf via the blogger navbar EVER...that's the surest way to hit up the porn sites by the third click.

Have finger to click "report site" will travel.

In order to catch a Gazoo you have to look on the members sites as you're surfing. Look for the word Gazoo. It will be highlighted and probably underlined which means it is a link. Click on that and you will be directed to the Blogzoo site and be given your credits for finding a gazoo. I've never been to a porn site through surfing on their bar. And I surf all the time. Must have missed them, thank God.

I have seen some with some foul language and a pic or two but that's what that report site button if for and I sure use it. I wouldn't consider them porn though. :o)
