Footsteps Of Love

My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

The Wonders Of God

A boy was sitting on a park bench with one hand resting on an open Bible. He was loudly exclaiming his praise to God. "Hallelujah! Hallelujah! God is great!" he yelled without worrying whether anyone heard him or not.

Along came a man who had recently completed some studies at a local university. Feeling himself very enlightened in the ways of truth and very eager to show this enlightenment, he asked the boy about the source of his joy.

The boy replied with a bright laugh, "Don't you have any idea what God is able to do? I just read that God opened up the waves of the Red Sea and led the whole nation of Israel right through the middle."The enlightened man laughed lightly, sat down next to the boy, and began to try to open his eyes to the "realities" behind the miracles of the Bible. "That can all be very easily explained. Modern scholarship has shown that the Red Sea in that area was only 10-inches deep at that time. It was no problem for the Israelites to wade across."

The boy was stumped. His eyes wandered from the man back to the Bible lying open in his lap. The man, content that he had enlightened a poor, naive young person to the finer points of scientific insight, turned to go. Scarcely had he taken two steps when the boy began to rejoice and praise louder than before. The man turned to ask the reason for this resumed jubilation.

"Wow!" Exclaimed the boy happily, "God is greater than I thought! Not only did He lead the whole nation of Israel through the Red Sea, He topped it off by drowning the whole Egyptian army in 10 inches of water!"

You think you're a Christian but you're the biggest fake that came along. You have all this on your website, but you have no idea what Christianity is!

You insult people, and Christians don't do that. You can't answer the phone after you give a person you're number.

What's your problem? Maybe the devil has a hold of you and you need to get some God in your life. You're the biggest fake that comes around since the preachers on TV that want money.

I loved this post- it was just what I needed to read this morning, and as to that character, "annonymous"- he/she must have got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning. You keep up the good work- you have a great blog here that is an inspiration and encouragement to many of us.

Thank you Cindy for the very nice words. I love doing this and I give all the praise and glory to my God! What an awsome God He is! As to that "anonymous" person, she was a member of my club in Goltoken.com but I had to remove her for obvious reasons. She needs professional help and I've got her on a prayer list and am praying for her. She has refused God to every extent and says that He is nowhere in her life at all. Prayer is very powerful. Thank you for visiting and please come back soon. God bless you!

You are right, this was very unchristian to post on your private blog. I hope you don't mind, but am sending this to Badger. I think this breaks GoldTokens Acceptable Use Policy. And she would want to be made aware of it. GoldToken is a family site and to protect the rest of the site, Badger removes those who harrass or attack others.
